Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA)
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in behavioral therapy, particularly in working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism. This role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing direct support to clients to enhance their quality of life through applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques.
Duties

Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments and diagnostic evaluations to identify client needs.

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on the principles of applied behavior analysis.

Collect and analyze data to monitor client progress and adjust interventions as necessary.

Provide direct therapy services to clients, focusing on skill acquisition and behavior reduction strategies.

Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.

Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Participate in intake processes for new clients, ensuring all relevant medical terminology and records are accurately gathered.

Educate families and caregivers on behavioral strategies and interventions to support client development.

Stay current with best practices in behavioral health and special education.

Provide supervision fieldwork hours to BCBA supervision to BCBA candidate
Experience

A minimum of a Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or a related field is required.

Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is mandatory.

Experience working with children and individuals with disabilities, particularly those on the autism spectrum.

Proficiency in data collection methods and patient assessment techniques.

Familiarity with medical documentation practices, including understanding medical terminology and maintaining accurate medical records.

Previous experience in special education settings is highly desirable.

Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT)

What you’ll do

Implement individualized treatment plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis principles to support clients with autism and developmental disabilities.

Conduct data collection and analysis to monitor client progress and adjust strategies as needed.

Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), promoting independence and self-sufficiency.

Collaborate closely with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support.

Provide teaching and guidance in social skills, communication, and behavior management techniques.

Maintain accurate medical documentation, including care plans and behavioral health records, while adhering to HIPAA regulations.

Engage in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with best practices in special education and behavioral therapy.
Basic qualifications

Active Registered Behavior Technician License through the BACB

Experience working with children, particularly those with developmental disabilities or autism.

Strong understanding of medical terminology and ability to navigate medical records effectively.

Knowledge of behavior management techniques and strategies for promoting positive behavior change.
